Level 1 sweep and inspection to the NFPA 211 annual standard - flue, crown, cap, and flashing checked and photographed
Chimney sweep logs do not sweep chimneys. They loosen some creosote - which then falls where a brush and vacuum still have to collect it.
The Level Two Chimney Atlanta Guarantee
We’re Corrine Halstead and the team at Level Two Chimney Atlanta, and we’ve been sweeping, inspecting, and repairing chimneys across this city since 2009. In that time, we’ve documented every single one of those 38,000 visits with a photo record, a written scope, and a written price agreed before any work started. That’s not marketing. That’s Clause 4 of the Haven Standard, and it’s been our practice since day one.
When we say we stand behind our work, we mean something specific for Atlanta homeowners. It means the technician who arrives at your home in Virginia-Highland, Cascade Heights, or out by Stone Mountain is background-checked, uniformed, and carrying a license number you can verify. It means the price you sign off on is the price you pay. No surprises after the ladder is already up. And it means if something isn’t right, we make it right within 365 days. That’s the Done Right Promise, stamped on every job under the Haven Standard. We’ve operated this way for sixteen years because chimney work is trust work. You’re letting someone into your home, onto your roof, and into the system that vents smoke and carbon monoxide from your family’s living space. We don’t take that lightly.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship on every repair and installation. Whether we’re installing a DuraFlex liner in a 1920s Druid Hills bungalow or rebuilding a spalling crown on a ranch in Decatur, the labor is covered by our 365-Day Done Right Promise. If the seal fails, the cap lifts, or the liner settles in a way we didn’t anticipate, we come back and fix it. No argument, no additional charge.
- Parts and materials sourced through Haven’s buying network. We procure from DuraFlex, HeatShield, Gelco, Olympia Chimney, Famco, and Copperfield specifically to keep customer prices honest. If a part fails due to manufacturer defect, we handle the replacement under the supplier’s terms and cover the labor ourselves. You don’t chase warranties across three phone trees.
- Cleanup that leaves no trace. Chimney work is dirty by nature. Soot, creosote flakes, masonry dust, that’s the job. But your living room shouldn’t look like the job site when we leave. We lay protective sheeting, run HEPA vacuums, and do a final walkthrough with you. If we missed a spot, we clean it. That’s part of the written scope, not a favor.
- On-time arrival with real communication. Clause 3 of the Haven Standard, the “Arrive on schedule” commitment, means you get a named technician assigned, a text when they’re on the way, and a live person answering the phone if you need to check status. We don’t give you a four-hour window and ghost you. Atlanta traffic is real, especially crossing 285 during rush hour or navigating the narrow streets of Inman Park, so if we’re running behind, we tell you.
- Honest pricing with zero bait-and-switch. Haven Standard Clause 1, H.A.V.E.N. “Have it in writing,” requires a written price, written scope, and written warranty delivered before anyone starts work. Not after the technician is already in your home. Not after they’ve climbed the ladder and “discovered” something that doubles the bill. We inspect with a camera, show you what we found, and quote based on what the footage actually shows. In Atlanta’s older neighborhoods like Grant Park or Kirkwood, where chimneys can date back a century, we expect surprises. We still price them upfront.
Our Satisfaction Promise

If you’re not satisfied, here’s exactly what happens. Call us at (470) 435-7984. A live person answers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No voicemail maze, no “leave a message and we’ll call back.” You describe the issue. We pull your documented photo record from our archive, the same one created under Clause 4 during your original visit. We review what was done, what was recommended, and what you agreed to. Then we schedule a return visit at no charge to make it right.
The 365-Day Done Right Promise isn’t a loophole-ridden “satisfaction guarantee” that expires in thirty days or excludes “normal wear.” It’s a full year of coverage on our workmanship. If the smoke chamber parging we applied in January cracks by November, we repair it. If the chimney cap we installed on your Buckhead home doesn’t keep out the squirrels that plague Atlanta’s tree-canopied neighborhoods, we adjust or replace it. The make-it-right process is simple because we designed it that way. We’ve been documenting every job since 2009, so we don’t argue about what was or wasn’t done. The photos, the written scope, and your signature are the record. We fix what’s ours to fix, and we do it promptly.
We’re also happy to provide a Free Second Opinion on any written estimate from another company. Bring us their quote. We’ll inspect with our camera, show you our findings, and tell you honestly whether their recommended work matches what we see. Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn’t. Our only interest is that you have accurate information before spending money on chimney work in Atlanta.
Before
AfterLicensed & Insured Backing
The Done Right Promise and the Haven Standard clauses are only as strong as the company behind them. We’re licensed and insured, with license information displayed on every page of our site and available when our technician arrives. That paperwork isn’t a formality. It’s the financial backing that ensures if something goes wrong, there’s recourse beyond a handshake.
Chimney work involves heights, combustion gases, and structural modifications to your home. A technician working uninsured on your roof in Atlanta’s summer thunderstorms or winter ice is a liability you don’t want. Our coverage protects you, your property, and our crew. The background checks, the uniforms, the named technician with a license number you can verify, that’s all part of the same system. We’re independently owned and operated under the Haven Standard, not a faceless dispatch service sending whoever’s available. When Corrine Halstead puts our name on a job, it means something. Sixteen years, 38,000 documented visits, and a written price every single time. That’s the guarantee.
